Working, exercising and watching 'Gilmore Girls'. That's all you need to read to know how I've been the last month. Nelson's not a really happening place and working awkward hours (5pm-midnight, please) and other useless shifts (5-9pm) tend to strip me of my day without really offering any type of money-making opportunity. The weather's been considerably pleasant, though lots of cloudy days which although are always a joy, I'm over.
It's the weirdest feeling to have been away having this busy, stressful and super-social year to have gone back to working a meaningless job, having barely any friends and practically nothing to do. I can't say it's been the summer "of my dreams" but it's ticking along alright, really I'm just waiting for next year to get going. I need to start organising things for my flat, and I haven't even applied for 2nd year so I'd better get onto that. Oh and the biggest of beasts, Studylink. The insanity involved in applying for my loan and allowance and living costs (all separate, massive forms of course) and the thought of having to do it all again literally is on the verge of tear-inducing.
The biggest thing I need to do, and a job I decided to take on myself, was to compile a list of all the things we will need (communally) for our flat. I think I'll get onto that now.
